The project that I was working too, it was a skin portrait and I had to define one path to work with that. I choose the aura that each person has around it. I like the sense of colours and I wanted to investigate the feelings of people. Through this, I tried to combine them, and aura was the result of my research. ''Aura'' project

The portfolio I present here, has to do mostly with experimentations with colours and liquid media. Colour is something that fascinates me, and something that I want to use further in my general work. 

In the past I had some health problems, and since then I decided to see life more… colourful. 

I love colours and the effect they have on different materials, experimenting with different media, in order to discover new fields to develop.

Usually, I use myself as the object for my experimentations, because this makes me feel more connected to my work, and more realistic with my feelings. 

One subject treated in my portfolio is aura. The project was named skin portrait, and I have chosen to work with aura, because it attracts my interest and the curiosity mostly to invest in one area that has to do with colours, and feelings. Area that is actually more independent and different from person to person. But the most important reason for me, was that I could invest myself, and complete one more puzzle of my identity. 

Through that subject I had the chance to work with various media like ink, water, glass paints, transparent papers, projector, glasses and photographs. I also present here creations from some workshops using Adobe Photoshop, based on the subject of skin portrait and aura as well as the video I made on Adobe Premier. 

Another project I present here, has to do with more solid materials, and recycle experimentations. The subject was about zips. I connected zips with the inside. My concept was that even if sometimes you try to cover, to disguise things, the truth will always be exposed and what really happens around you. 

The materials I used mostly were cardboard, plaster tape, modelling paste, actual zips etc. 

The presentation of my portfolio was created using Adobe Photoshop. Through my studies in Freshart until now where I’m doing the BTEC foundation course, I learn to use design & video software like Adobe Photoshop, illustrator and Premier.

So far on my BTEC foundation course I have found myself experimenting and maturing with different materials, methodologies, techniques and processes. I learned the importance of sketchbook work, research, experimentations and work development. I had the chance to invest more in myself, and to develop different skills on different areas.
